While the media and others can go back and forth on Vice President Harris' Blackness, we must focus on what policies she is laying out to address the issues our community faces.

If Vice President Harris decides to build a strong progressive coalition, a Black woman will be the 47th President of the United States.

Do we choose darkness and hate? Or do we choose light and love? I know that I will choose light and love. We all should.

Together, once we recognize our collective power and make demands that are big and ambitious, we can create an America as good as its promise.

It is not on progressives to fight for a different candidate, it is on us to fight for a party that centers the people over the donor class.

The real lesson of this week's competing events with workers is not about the Democrats or Republicans, or Biden v. Trump. It is about the future of unions.

From the workforce of Starbucks, Amazon, and Apple, to rail workers, writers, and actors, the struggle to secure a good life is raging across the nation.

If the Republican Party believes in the freedom they purport to, they have an opportunity to push public policy in a way that helps working people.
